I bet this was super spoopy back in the sixties. My grandma has the has the ring tone of the shower. Nine things? How about one? 1) The idea of the FBI using a cadet on a case like this is beyond ridiculous.

Hitchcock had such a way of roping you in. This is one of the greatest trailers I've ever seen. I've seen Psycho easily 20 times, probably more, and it's one of the great suspense films (not really horror, IMO) of all time, but this the campy traveling music as Hitch walks from room to room- genius. He just got the idea of marketing himself, and his films, better than anyone else at the time. If you haven't seen Psycho, watch it. It's just brilliant.

I love the fact that he's just standing in the middle of his cell like answering the door to his new patient, unlike your stereotypical psychopath,he is calm and polite all the way to the end. So fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 He murdered that 2nd verse. I remember that teeth biting thing he did. I cant find that scene anywhere. The reason he smirks when she asks for the phone is because in a scene right before this, the girl that he has captive in the basement was begging for the phone to also call for help. In that moment, he no longer sees Clarice as an authority figure but as yet another weak little woman that he could easily make his victim, and whose only hope is to call other men for help. This view of powerlessness is so ingrained that he seems to pretty much disregard her pointing a loaded gun at him. This entire movie deals with gender and power in such a brilliantly subtle and nontoxic way, especially compared to today's bullshit Hollywood feminism.

I like old horror movies to the present day brings the history of the horror.

I thought it wasn't very realistic in the movie, turns out its pretty darn realistic

Anybody who watched Scooby-Doo as a kid knew that the face mask removal was coming. I'm going to the Governor's Ball. And I'm going to eat everyone's dinner. I love r kelly but around my daughters im not comfortable hahahahah i cant 🤣🤣🤣🤣 luda u a fool for that one. Tbh YouTube has a better movie selection than Netflix. Hannibal Lecter by Anthony Hopkins is one of the best characters in a movie of all time. Look at how happy jodie foster is, one might say they are in love...

To me the scariest part of the movie is the first shot of him. Just how he is standing in his cell with such a serene expression on his face. Waiting... in anticipation... Fear of the unfamiliar is tangible. But fear of the known... When you know something insane comes so well packaged... That's what inspires primal fear. He's going to win for 'The Father' in 2021. Just watch... ICarly refrenced this. Dope. But that's expecting. Luda and tunechi. 2 legends of the south. I need more.

Well this is all it took to make me want to watch again. What a masterpiece. Anthony Hopkins acting is not only remarkable but also iconic. Had it been any other actor portraying as Hannibal Lector, the movie would have been a flop. I love how annoyed he sounds when he says about Crawford sending a trainee. I think his ego was bruised.
